This is how you can make your order with us

LIST THE PATTERNS

I.

List the patterns, hook sizes, and number of dozen that you require and send that to us. For example:-
Parachute Adams #12 10 dozen
Elk Hair Caddis #16 15 dozen
BeadHead Prince #18 6 dozen

....and so on.

II.

We then send you a quotation for the flies, including an amount for international wire transfer fees, which we pass onto you from the Banks. This amount is levied only when you make your payments within the United States, by sending a cheque to our Regional Office in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When you make your payment by transferring payment to our account here in Kenya, or through a money transfer service such as Western Union, we do not levy the charges to you as you pay for them when sending the cash.

The other charge that our quotation will include is shipping - door-to-door delivery, for orders of less than 500 dozen. All orders of 500 dozen and above are delivered FREE-OF-CHARGE. Please note that due to the light [weight] nature of our products, we advise larger numbers of dozen for each consignment to reduce your costs per dozen.

III.

Once you have received our quotation, you then confirm your order by remitting at least 50% of the invoice amount. The other 50% should be remitted upon delivery of the flies.

THE TERMS OF TRANSACTION

You ask us:- ------- on Customs Duties ------- "

What duties and taxes should we in the U.S. expect to be charged when importing your flies?"

We answer:- Under the African Growth and Opportunity Act of the U.S. Congress, year 2000, Hand-Tied Fishing Flies manufactured in Kenya and imported into the U.S. DO NOT attract any Customs Duties:

U.S. President Bill Clinton signed the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) into law on May 18, 2000 as Title 1 of The Trade and Development Act of 2000. The Act offers tangible incentives for African countries to continue their efforts to open their economies and build free markets)

C check out http://www.agoa.gov/ or contact the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of Africa Department at agoamail@ita.doc.gov in Washington D.C.

However, U.S. Customs Internal Revenue Service are best placed to answer your questions regarding import duties and regulations.

You ask us:- ------- on How to Pay Us ------- "

Do you accept credit cards? If not, how do we pay you and is it expensive?"

We answer:- The credit card issue is a hot one for us and, though we're working on it even now, we still cannot accept payments by credit card as we are not yet merchants of Visa and Mastercard. We will certainly Shout! about it once we become so.

In the meantime....
The closest we get to taking your payments right there in the North America is by your sending your cheque to our Regional office in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Should you decide to use this method, we shall furnish you with their contacts, so you can call them and co-ordinate the payment with them.
